The most common use of halogen bulbs is in under-cabinet lighting, as work lighting, or in automotive headlamps. Their life expectancy stands at the level of around 2000 hours. They produce infrared light, so we do not recommend putting them anywhere near artwork or fabrics. Halogen linear bulbs as well as classic bulbs are getting incredibly warm with their usage. Keep that in mind. Do not try to touch them, until they cool off.
