As the demand for our goods has grown and with the further expansion of the range, the need for more warehouse space has gradually increased in recent years. Investing in a new warehouse has proved to be a logical strategic step.

More space and process automation

In October, a completed warehouse hall with an area of over 9,000 sqm and a new hall for 4,500 pallets with a height of 19 m will give the company a substantial increase in warehouse space, allowing us to maintain higher inventory and respond faster to demand.

Not only that, along with an increase in storage capacity, Lamps4sale has also implemented the new system mySTOCK® WMS (Warehouse Management System) by the Kvados a.s. company that can optimize warehouse processes with the help of AI and machine learning. The automation will help to improve the process of picking goods and preparing them for the journey to the customer. The customers can then enjoy their orders earlier.

The newly built spaces (marked in red on the map) will complement several of the original warehouse halls of the former industrial site, which also houses the logistics department and the customer center. The company's administrative center is located with three other warehouse halls nearby.

Lamps4sale has been on the market for 25 years and in that time has been able to grow into the second-largest player in the online market with lights. It currently operates in 26 European countries. 

We are currently selling more than 200 brands of lighting, have 50,000 product types in our range, over 2 million pieces in stock, and have successfully delivered over 4 million orders to our customers to date.
