LED2 LIGHTING
The first use of LED technology dates back to the 1960s when the then LEDs were used for indicator lighting in computers and industrial machines. Current LED technology is based on a semiconductor diode emitting a light beam.
A major breakthrough in LED technology came with the completion of the blue and then the white diode.
