Product description

The MPPT regulator uses an internal converter to adjust the V-A characteristic of the power source-solar panel to be optimal for battery charging.
Thus, it can utilize the energy from the solar panels much more efficiently than a PWM regulator that regulates the charge only by pulse limiting the direct connection between the solar panel and the battery, where the pulse rate is proportional to the state of charge of the battery.
In other words, the MPPT regulator can generate the ideal voltage and current for charging the battery from the output voltage and lower current of the power supply.
A voltage of 30V and 5A will generate about 15V and 10A.
The V-A conversion efficiency of the characteristic is over 95%, so losses are minimal and the regulators can usually be overdriven with a different battery type to give the best possible charge.

4 stages of Pb battery charging (CC, CV - boost, CV - float, CV-equalize).
CC = charging with full PV panel power until the set value of the end of charge (CV-boost).
CV-boost = charging for 1-2hrs after reaching a clamp voltage of 14-15V (adjustable).
CV-equalize = charging by increasing voltage to mix liquid electrolyte - selectable only for batteries with liquid electrolyte.
CV-float = charge with maintenance voltage 13,5-13,8V (adjustable).
Choice of battery type: liquid dielectric, AGM, AGM GEL, LiFePO4.
LCD display for setting and monitoring operating parameters.
Temperature compensation: -4.17mV/K per cell when boost+equal charging, -3.33mV/K per cell when float charging.
Protection: IP32.
