We are introducing Philips Hue, lighting LED technology connected by intuitive control of your interior lights. The revolution is in the perfect combination of bulbs, lights, accessories, wireless control, and smart apps. You will always have everything in hand on your mobile phone or tablet.

Hue equals a modern and smart LED lighting system and control elements. It allows you to control all the lights from a single device or via smart wireless switches. You can choose from unicolor dimmable bulbs, bulbs with the possibility of changing the color temperature, RGB bulbs, or LED strips with 16 million colors. We can't forget about lamps, lights, and accessories in the form of remote controls and sensors. Thanks to the intuitive and clear mobile app for phones and tablets you have an unlimited range of lighting schemes, functions, and apps for home lighting.

The type of light matters

Before getting into choosing a product, we will briefly mention an important element which is the choice of suitable type of light. White, White Ambiance, White and Color Ambiance. It sounds complicated. But it's not. We are talking about the types of lights and the following lines will make everything clear for you.

White (possibility of dimming): Soft white light. It is set to a pleasantly warm white and offers immediate wireless dimming.

White Ambiance (possibility of dimming and changing the temperature of white color): From warm to cool white light. It offers you 50 000 shades of white at the touch of a button. From warm to cool.

White and Color Ambiance (possibility of dimming, changing the temperature of white color and choice from 16 million colors): White and colored light. It will brighten up your home with millions of colors. A wide range of colors will help you to create a wonderful atmosphere. A romantic evening or a birthday party? You can choose the right lighting for your precious moments.

We are starting! The Starter Kit is a clear choice

If we have enticed you to buy Hue in the previous paragraphs, you may be wondering how to start. For the start, we recommend purchasing one of the Starter Kits. They contain the Hue Bridge control device and two or more light sources. And they are also advantageous. And you don't have to worry about all the connecting and pairing of components. We promise that everyone can do it.

Do you already have your Starter Kit at home? Just unpack it, screw the bulb into a lamp or chandelier, and turn on the light via a switch. If your set contains the Hue Bridge device, connect it to your Wi-Fi router. Then pick up your phone or tablet and find the Philips Hue app in the App Store or Google Play. Open it and connect it with Bridge. The Bridge is smart, so it will automatically find all the lighting in your home. And the game begins! You can progressively add lights. Bridge can handle up to fifty lights at a time.

If you're not a technical talent, don't worry. The app is simple and it will guide you through the whole process and advise you. And when you don't have a mobile phone or tablet close to you, you can also control the lights via your computer at meethue.com.

The setting is done, but which Starter Kit should you choose? A few paragraphs earlier, we explained the differences between the three types of lights. And this is the most important indicator when choosing the right Starter Kit. Don't forget to choose the right base. Accessories are a matter-of-course of every Starter Kit.

Products everywhere you look

A subtle addition to a romantic film with good wine or a welcomed helper on the night journey to the fridge. Exactly these and other purposes are an unequivocal reason for purchasing lighting strips Hue Lightstrip. We don't even have to mention that you can use the smart Hue Bridge control for them as well. But just to make sure. Their place is not only in your home but also in the exteriors. Lightstrip will make your garden stand out even on dark nights.

And now the most important. Choosing the light. The technological pearl Philips Hue has many types of interior and outdoor lights. From table lamps, wall lights, spotlights, or ceiling lights, through floor lamps, to pendant and ceiling recessed lights. Believe us, with these lights, you will make your home beautiful and smart.

It's cold outside, you're lying on your bed at home, you're about to fall asleep and suddenly notice that you've left the light on your backyard on? If you have the outdoor lighting Philip Hue, there is no problem. Simply turn it off or dim it via your phone while you're lying on your warm bed. Outdoor lights are available in a standard voltage version, which you connect to the home network or a low-voltage variant. You can plug it anywhere. Even outside.

It may seem less important, but it is often very necessary. Take a look at the Hue accessories, which include extension cables, switches, power supplies, and sensors.  From all of them, we want to mention Dimmer switch (V2), with which you will become a lady or lord of dimming lights in your home. You can easily mount it on the wall using adhesive tape, which is a part of the package. What's more - you can also use it as a remote control. The top of laziness? Not at all, this is just a perfect improver. We are writing about the motion sensor. You just flash past it and the light is on. It fits anywhere in the home. And we also have to write about another product for you. Smart plug will turn any light (and yes, even the one into which you won't get a Hue bulb) into a smart light. Control them comfortably via the Hue app or by your voice.

How to connect Hue? It cannot be easier than that

You just need four steps to connect Hue in your household the way you need to.

1) Get the Hue products that you want.

2) Power your lights. Whether they are bulbs in your original lights or Philips Hue lights. Just plug them in and turn them on.

3) If you have Bridge, connect it to the Wi-Fi.

4) Install the  Philips Hue app. You can find it in the App Store or in Google Play. It depends on the type of your phone. The app exists in two versions. A standard version that works in a light installation with Bridge. The second is Hue Bluetooth, which you can download if you only want to control the lights via this technology.

Bridge or Bluetooth? Both work well

Whether you choose Bluetooth or Bridge for the connection, both options are carefree. If you start with Bluetooth, you can later move on to the even more sophisticated Bridge.

What are the main differences between these two connection options?

With Bluetooth, you can connect up to 10 lights, but with Bridge, you can connect up to 50 lights. With Bridge in the whole household, but with Bluetooth only in one room. With Bridge, you can control outside the walls of your home or synchronize lighting with video games, movies, or music. With both systems, you have voice control, dimming without installation, or setting timers.

You will always be trendy with updates

The Philips Hue app has recently undergone significant improvements, and in addition to its beautiful design, it also brings a lot of new useful functions. And it will remain the same in the future. There are regular updates of the app, which will bring you new options and extensions of existing functions. With the help of the app, you can personalize all settings, the possibilities are almost endless. And it's really fun.

Philips Hue also looks around the corner, the app is not missing compatibility

Hue not only works with its own products, but it also works perfectly with a number of other platforms, assistants, and products, and together they form your smart home.

It has the perfect partnership with the Apple HomeKit app. This connection will allow you to control all lights in your home by your voice. Seriously. You don't even need your phone or tablet in your hand. Just call Siri for help. And that's not the end. You can control Hue directly via iOS. You simply create a perfect smart home ecosystem, connected to other devices.

And if you don't own iPhone or iPad? That does not matter at all. Hue also works perfectly with Google Assistant. Even with it, all you need is your own voice to bring the perfect atmosphere into your home.

Last but not least, you can also connect Hue via IFTTT and pair it with, for example, the social networks you use. Did you receive a message from your mother on Messenger? The lights in the living room will flash red. It's the reality, no sci-fi.

Do we need to mention more reasons to buy Philips Hue? There are still many!
